Last March I flew into Chicago to meet my parents and drove to the University of Illinois to see my sisters. Enroute, we stopped off to see my grandmother, my last surviving grandparent, and my uncle.

The older of my two sisters competes for the women's varsity gymnastics team, the younger will join her there next year. In case you can't tell, the two are inseparable and the weekend was punctuated with them playing mindgames on the boys and planting a remote-control fart machine in conspicuous public areas.

The pictures below were shot in a few locations: my grandmother's house, the turn-of-the-century gymnasium where my sister trains, and in my sister's apartment off campus.
